Summer Reading 2017

Reading, writing, and thinking skills are required for all academic pursuits. In an effort to keep our students sharp, the ORHS Summer Reading program provides students with an opportunity to practice these skills during the summer. Summer reading provides English teachers with a text that most students have read or are reading with which to begin instruction. No major grades will be taken on summer reading until the 4th week of school allowing any student who has not read, to do so. A special welcome for our rising 9th graders will be given at Fish Camp encouraging them with their first ORHS reading assignment. Enjoy summer and happy reading War Eagles.
