Dropout Prevention and Recovery

What is Dropout Prevention?

Dropout Prevention is a set of strategies that identify and support students at risk of dropping out of school. With a focus of providing academic, emotional, and social support to help students stay engaged and succeed in their education. Strategies may include mentorship, tutoring, and addressing issues such as attendance, behavior, and family involvement.

Our Goal

The goal of dropout prevention is to help students stay in school and finish their education, no matter what challenges they might be facing. It’s about stepping in early to support students who are struggling—whether it's with their grades, personal issues, or just feeling disconnected from school—and giving them the tools and encouragement they need to stay on track.

Our Vision

The vision of dropout prevention is to create an educational environment where every student feels supported, engaged, and empowered to succeed. It’s about ensuring that no student falls through the cracks, no matter their background or challenges, and that all students have the opportunity to graduate with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in their future.
