Oak Ridge High School Front Entrance

Oak Ridge High School opened in 1981 as Conroe Independent School District's third comprehensive high school. Oak Ridge is located on Oak Ridge School Road east of Interstate 45 and serves the city of Oak Ridge North, portions of the city of Shenandoah, the town of Woodloch, Chateau Woods, Tamina, and Imperial Oaks.

Registration

Please complete the enrollment process with Conroe ISD:

After completing your students online enrollment, you and the student will need to come to campus to complete the registration.  This will be when you meet with the counselor to set up the students ORHS schedule and the student will start school the same day.

Registrations will be during the hours of 7:00am – 9:30am Monday – Friday.

You will need to bring all required documentation with you when you come to campus to complete the registration.

Contact the ORHS Registrar's Office following registration or with any questions or concerns.

Leave a message if registrar is not available, and calls will be returned within 24-48 hours, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Change of Address

If you change your address and/or work, home, cell numbers or email address, please notify the school registrar in writing as soon as possible.

In order to change a student’s address, you must bring proof of residence to the registrar’s office. If your child rides the bus, they are not allowed to ride the new bus until the address has been changed on campus. Parents will need to contact CISD transportation to register for the new bus.
This can take up to 48 hours.

Withdrawals

If your student will be attending a new school, your student must first be withdrawn from ORHS. Before moving and enrolling in a different school, please contact the Registration Office to begin the paperwork necessary to withdraw your student from ORHS.

MUST DO BEFORE WITHDRAWING:

  • Have the student return any library books, textbooks, devices, or other school property

  • Pay any outstanding school fees by logging into your school cash online account

Information needed TO WITHDRAW:

  • Student’s name

  • School ID number

  • Last date attending ORHS

  • The name and location of the school the student is transferring to

To withdraw in person:

No appointment necessary.  Withdrawals are processed at any time between 7am - 2pm Monday - Friday.  This will be when you complete the withdrawal request, we will process withdrawal get some signatures and you will be on your way with a packet for the new school.

To withdraw remotely

If you are unable to come to campus you can email the request to the appropriate campus registrar.  Please include students name, ORHS ID number, last date of attending ORHS, name of new school and a copy of the Parent/Guardian ID.  Then when you go to the new school to enroll and once we receive an official records request we can send the withdrawal documents to the new school.
