Taking place tomorrow night! Activities/ highlights Thank You Cards For Service Members: We will have blank, patriotic note cards for fans to sign that are sent in care packages to veterans and those deployed. NJROTC: The Caney Creek NJROTC program will be on-site selling Panther merchandise and American flags to raise funds for next year’s drill meets. Your support directly helps the cadets continue to grow, compete, and represent our community with pride. They’ll also be sharing more information about the NJROTC program at Caney Creek—stop by to learn about the leadership, teamwork, and opportunities it provides for our students.

The March Student Council meeting is Tuesday 3/24 after school in room 4309. Don't forget to wear your StuCo shirt!

The Creek yearbook and Creek Compass (cchscompass.com) news website made campus and district history today as the Columbia Scholastic Press Association announced that BOTH publications earned a prestigious Gold Crown Award — high school journalism’s equivalent of a Pulitzer Prize. This places the news website among the Top 10 in the country and the yearbook in the Top 19 in the country.

Both have also been nominated for UIL ILPC’s Star Award and the yearbook also was named a finalist for the equally prestigious Pacemaker Award from the National Scholastic Press Association.

The country is watching what Caney Creek is doing. Congrats to these student journalists!

The Applied Ag Engineering team showed up this weekend at the UTI Houston welding contest. Brandon Velazquez placed 2nd in the Top Tech Challenge and brought home a Snap-On welding helmet, a cordless DeWalt grinder and battery worth over $700 in total! Congratulations 🎉
