The Montgomery County Clerk's Office will be open during special hours Saturday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for families needing a copy of their student's birth certificate to complete school registration. Visit https://www.MCTX.org/CountyClerk.

This summer, Conroe ISD will host college workshops and college fairs for rising seniors (Class of 2026). On June 25th, the Houston-Area Recruiters Network will host a college fair at Grand Oaks High School. Thirty-six colleges and universities will be on hand to meet prospective students and answer questions about before college applications open in late summer. In July, students can attend workshops to learn more about how admissions work, insider essay tips, and scholarship searches. On August 2nd, the Private College Collective will sponsor their own workshop at College Park High School. This workshop will be a deep-dive into highly selective admissions.

Our War Eagle PTO is rebuilding, and we’re looking for dedicated parents to serve on the PTO Board. Right now, we are focused on filling the primary board positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian. These roles are essential to get us up and running. As we get closer to the school year, we will hold nominations for additional committee positions.
