Writing Center

Staffed by trained peer tutors, the WEWC helps students with writing assignments in every subject. This resource is open to all ORHS students who want help on everything– from English essays to history DBQs or even lab reports!

The mission of the Oak Ridge Writing Center is to assist students with writing in all disciplines. Through confidential, one-on-one peer tutoring, the center not only strives to ensure a welcoming, worthwhile experience, but also aims to elevate confidence, enhance writing skills, and encourage self-evaluation.

The War Eagle Writing Center is located in Room 2620 and is open during all lunch periods, every day.  We are also open during Blue Day Eagles Nests.
